Remodeled Bathroom Finished in Wood
On the other hand this featured bathroom is beautiful and I would love for it to be the one I used every morning and every night.
The color contrast is the natural brown of the wood against the white everything else (sinks, vanities, toilet, floor, walls, literally everything) and that color contrast really works.
This bathroom is a perfect blend of clean and sterile (the tile) with natural and earthy (the wood).
I really like how the part of the countertop that curves up becomes the “wall” where the robe (or a towel) hangs. That is a very nice touch.
The only part of this bathroom that I question is the two little sinks that only have one water input each. Are they are pair of toothbrush or “spit sinks” such as were common in the 1940s in the US. I’m not sure, but I’m also not sure what else they could be.
This bathroom has such nice clean lines and except for the wood looks extremely low maintenance.
And as far as the wood goes, I guess there is no substitute for marine grade Varathan which I’m guessing needs to be reapplied every 12 to 18 months.
Even though I love building and remodeling, I see myself enjoying this bathroom as long a someone else came in every year or so to touch up the protection for the wood pieces.
