A bathroom subtly remodeled in black and white
This works because the space layout has the countertop and the shower floor opposite each other.
The floor is a light colored (not white) tile, which is brilliantly contrasted with the countertop that is almost all black but contains some amount of white (and is offset by white sinks and brushed nickle fixtures) and the shower floor which is mostly white and contains some amount of black .
The effect is very nice.
The painted wall is gray, adding to the contrast between black and white.
The tiles on the shower wall are also very light but not white and a trim strip along with a matching decorative back splash (that’s not the right word, but I’m not finding the right right just now) which is in between the blackness of the countertop and the whiteness of the shower floor.
The effect is completed by the use of ceiling light fixtures for both ambient light, task list, and accent lighting.
Do you need ideas for your bathroom remodel and do you like the idea of a black/white color contrast? Perhaps you can find inspiration in this layout.
I feel the designer of this room did a fantastic job.
