Bathroom Bridget Faucets
This post is part of a series about bathroom remodeling (we service the greater San Jose CA metro area), as well as part of a sub-series on bathroom faucets. To access either of the lead posts please select one of the links below.
A bridge faucet is one that has two valves, one for hot and one for cold, where the “pipe” that carries the water from the valve to the faucet spout is built into the faucet.
The image on the right shows a chrome finish bridge faucet suitable for any modern bathroom.
This type of faucet is however more common with faucets intentionally made to look old. The one below is specifically made to look old and goes well with the irregular tiles on the wall.
The faucet below is made for a more elegant look and goes well with those (gaudy) pink tiles.
Now we’re talking (at least to me). A modern sleek bridge faucet that would look great within a sleek Scandinavian design bathroom with clean lines and a clear floor.
Getting or not getting a bridge faucet for your bathroom remodel is for two types of people:
1) People who find one they just love and have to have.
2) People are installing their own faucets. I say this because they are easier to install as there is less stuff under the sink to deal with.
