Concrete Bathroom Countertops

Did you think concrete bathroom countertops were ugly? Well surprise surprise, they are remarkably beautiful.
They are incredible durable, very low maintenance, and come in various colors and configurations. As you can see the image at the top right shows one with a built in sink, while the images below show one with an undermount sink and one with a vessel sink.
There are two ways concrete countertops can be made: at a fabrication shop, and on site.
I recommend it be made at the fabrication shop, especially when you have a built in sink or an undermount sink, as the equipment at the shop (in my opinion) polishes the concrete better. You can even build your own concrete bathroom countertop, but I consider this a task that is not for the faint of heat. If you’ve never done it, you’ll want someone who has to help you.
The cost of a concrete countertop is similar to the cost of a granite countertop, and the concrete still needs to be initially sealed and resealed, so the maintenance requirement is the same. However, as the images above show, you have options and choices with concrete that you do not have with granite.
