This post is the lead post of a long long sub-series on the various materials you will need to choose between as you put your design together. Fortunately or unfortunately you have very extensive material choices for your bathroom remodel.

I recommend you follow a pattern of elimination first. Eliminate what you know doesn’t work in order to narrow down your choices.
This process can sometimes seem overwhelming, so take your take, review your options, eliminate off the bat what you know doesn’t work for you, then sift through the remaining choices.
I strongly recommend working with a professional designer. They do this much more often than most of us do, and they’ve learned things we haven’t.
