Quartz Bathroom Countertops
Quartz is a white or transparent mineral consisting mostly of silicon dioxide. The color we see when we look at quartz is actually created by the impurities, not the quartz.
Quartz is a particularly exceptional countertop material. Having said that, you never see (or at least I’ve never seen) a solid quartz countertop in the same way you see solid marble or solid granite. Quartz is always made in an engineered stone product, where pieces of the ground up quartz material are embedded within some form of a polymer or resin.
Why is quartz so exceptional? Because it has the look of granite or marble without any of the inherent weaknesses. Due to being an engineered stone product, it never needs resealing or regrouting. Never.
It is non porous (which is why it never needs sealing and resealing) and therefore does not stain. Ever.
Having said all that, know that I personally am particularly partial to engineered stone due to them being so low maintenance, but of all the engineered stone products available, quartz is my all time favorite.
As you can see from the pictures below, quartz bathroom countertops come in a variety of colors, even white.
Love Low Maintenance?
Then you’ll love quartz countertops.
