Why would anyone want their bathroom to feel cooler?
Maybe you live in the Florida or San Diego or your home is so warm that coloring your bathroom cool in the spring makes sense for you.
The Solera Group provides expert bathroom remodeling services in the greater San Jose metro area
As you can probably guess, the color the feels the most cool is blue, but the cool colors of the color wheel are: green, various shades of blue, purple, and violet.
The most effective way to re-color your bathroom is to re-paint, but if you then want it warm again in the fall are you willing to repaint it twice a year?
Alternatively, you can do this without repainting. You can replace all your accessories twice is year. Your curtains, your shower curtain, your bath mat, your towels, maybe the picture (if you have one) etc. Even your plant pots can be changed if you have plants in the bathroom. Anything and everything that brings in the cooler color “large” enough to make a difference.
The effect of this can not be overstated. If your home is too hot and you wish your bathroom to be a cool place of refuge, switching to cooler colors, in general or during the hot months of the year, will make an enormous difference!
